Joseph Di Prisco's anticipated memoir brings the hustler, gambler, criminal, bookmaker, and confidential informant - Joe's father - back to life, and reveals the fascinating and unsettling truths that simultaneously bound and separated father and son. The Pope of Brooklyn is both sequel and prequel to his much-praised memoir, Subway to California.

Joseph Di Prisco is an acclaimed writer of fiction, nonfiction, memoir, and a prize-winning poet. His latest book of poems is Sighlines from the Cheap Seats.

Joe will be in conversation with poet Kim Dower, the Poet Laureate of West Hollywood and owner of Kim-from-LA.
